About the Course

This Level 2 Certificate is ideal for individuals aged 16+ who are beginning their journey into working with children and young people in a variety of care or support roles. Whether you’re aiming to become an early years assistant, youth support worker, or care assistant, this course provides a strong foundation in both knowledge and practice.


What You Will Learn:The course covers a broad range of core topics to equip learners with the necessary skills to provide high-quality care and support in children's services. Topics include:

Progression Opportunities:On completion of this qualification, learners may progress to more advanced training such as the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent roles requiring higher-level responsibilities.
