Whether you're preparing for employment, already working in a support-based role, or simply interested in mental wellbeing, this course offers a practical foundation for further development.

Delivered by a Care2Succeed-approved centre, the course covers key areas including:

  • What is mental health and mental ill-health

  • How to care for your own mental wellbeing

  • Offering moral support to others

  • Coping with difficult situations

  • Understanding the impact of lifestyle choices

  • Knowing where and how to access professional support

This course is ideal for learners of all backgrounds, including those entering care, education, retail, or other people-focused environments. It’s also well suited to learners looking for personal growth or a pathway into more specialised mental health qualifications.

Upon successful completion, learners may progress to more advanced programmes such as the Level 2 Award in Mental Health, as well as apprenticeships or further health and wellbeing training.
